Disparities in Psychosocial Distress Screening and Management of Lung and Ovarian Cancer Survivors

This paper reports on the main results of a years-long project among the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Westat and the Commission on Cancer (CoC) during which we partnered with 21 CoC-accredited cancer care facilities to examine their medical records to see whether they were screening lung and ovarian cancer survivors for distress. We also looked at follow up care offered/completed for those patients/survivors who were found to have distress.  Please see click HERE for link for abstract.
