Our Roundtable acts as a catalyst to stimulate work around mission in creating a sustainable oncology patient navigation model to achieve health equity across the cancer continuum priorities, and our work is guided with direction, input, and leadership from the dedicated members of the ACS NNRT Steering Committee. We are grateful to all individuals who are willing to put themselves forward as nominees. Serving on the Steering Committee is a big commitment, and Steering Committee members play a vital role in the work of the ACS NNRT.
Nominees can be self-selected or nominated by a colleague, preferably from a participating ACS NNRT member organization. Representatives from our Corporate or Affiliate member organizations may not serve on the Steering Committee, but they may nominate other candidates.
The term of office for Steering Committee members will be either a two (2) year or three (3) year renewable term and randomly assigned.
The term of service is to begin January 2025 and is renewable for one additional term. The names of nominees are submitted to the Nominating Committee, which reviews the nominations and selects the slate of Steering Committee candidates. The slate of candidates will be presented by email prior to the ACS NNRT December 2024 Steering Committee Meeting and candidates will be informed by phone in January 2025. A former Steering Committee member can be eligible for reconsideration after one year off the Committee.
